Natural Disasters
Between wildfires, earthquakes, and flooding, California residents are all too familiar with natural disasters. Parts of the Cathedral City are still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Hillary. Our community is resilient, but when disaster strikes, we need support.

Our Fire and Police Departments not only provide support when we are most in need, but they also offer Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training for residents, so we can know how to handle crisis situations in our community when they happen.
We need to maintain our CERT training program to help our residents stay prepared. We need our first responders well-trained and properly staffed. And we need emergency equipment and resources to keep our community prepared for whatever comes our way. Measure W will help us do just that.
